Bridget Byers

Barrister Sole

In practice since 1992

Barrister Sole, Independent Bar – 1 April 2015

I was born, raised and educated in Dunedin and feel fortunate to live in this brilliant little city.

I have been a lawyer in the Dunedin Family Court for over 30 years. Despite the challenges of the work, I find it satisfying and rewarding.

I endeavour to offer what you should expect from any family lawyer, which is, an opportunity for you to convey your problem, have it properly considered and be given trustworthy options and advice.

It’s important to me to work alongside my clients to form plans that will help them reach their goals.

I will give you a reliable understanding of the process and a risk/benefit analysis of the options available to you.

I enjoy court work, when it is required, and consider myself to be a strong and supportive advocate.
